Most green beryl is found in Brazil, but this gem is the first green beryl from India. Its yellowish-green color, large size, and locality make it an important acquisition for the National Gem Collection.

This yellowish-green beryl weighs 126.55 carats and is a modified cushion cut.  Most green beryl is found in Brazil, but this gem is the first green beryl from India, an important acquisition for the National Gem Collection.
